FROM THE CREATOR
Like I say on my bottles, OFF ROAD FIRE was born of Love. The Love for those things that make me sweat—mountain biking, eating fiery foods, and my wife Jacqueline. All three contributed to make OFF ROAD FIRE what it is.
I’ve been creating spicy food dishes all my life, and started making hot sauce a good number of years ago—I forget exactly when, but there was no grey in my beard then. I experimented with many things including vinegars, fresh peppers vs. pepper mash, various salts, and anything and everything in between. After a time, I came up with the current recipe for OFF ROAD FIRE and started making it for friends and family around the fall of 2006. In June of 2007 we gave every guest that came to our wedding a bottle—over 150 people. It went over so well we decided to go commercial—and here we are.
OFF ROAD FIRE is hand-made, in small batches, with the care and love you’d put into making something in your own kitchen.
